Municipal courts, clubs and hotel courts: the options for playing in Antalya and how to choose.

Thanks to its climate, Antalya is a city where you can play tennis outdoors for most of the year. Court options generally fall into three groups.

1. Municipal courts

The courts announced by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality are in Konyaaltı Beach Park, Lara Düden Park and Manavgat Türkbeleni. According to the municipality, these courts can be used free of charge and are booked through the municipality’s sports system. Details: free tennis courts in Antalya.

Note: The municipality’s FAQ states that private lessons are not given on these courts. If you’re planning lessons with a coach, agree on the court with your coach.

2. Tennis clubs

Clubs usually work with memberships or hourly rental; many have coaches, ball machines and changing rooms. In the court guide, clubs and private facilities appear only with information they added themselves and that has been approved; it’s best to check membership and rental conditions directly with the club.

3. Hotel and residential complex courts

Many hotels around Belek, Kemer, Lara and Side have tennis courts. Some are open to guests only; others can be rented by outside players. Conditions need to be confirmed directly with the facility.
